Dr. Romanelli is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he received his undergraduate degree. He continued his education and received his Doctor of Medicine Degree at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He then completed his residency in general surgery at Staten Island University. Continuing his education, Dr. Romanelli gained specialty training in Houston, TX, first at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, followed by a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world-famous Baylor College of Medicine. Here, he trained alongside the inventors of the silicone gel breast implant.
