Dr. Mark D. Epstein is a plastic surgeon in Hauppauge, New York, certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, with more than 30 years of experience in aesthetic plastic surgery. His practice focuses on aesthetic breast surgery, and he is recognized for his work with Motiva breast implants and the Preservé tissue-preserving breast augmentation technique.

His experience with Motiva began in May 2018, when he was selected as one of 22 Principal Investigators in the Motiva Implants Core Clinical Study (FDA IDE G170186), the 10-year clinical trial that led to FDA approval of Motiva breast implants in September 2024. He enrolled 73 patients, the highest enrollment among all participating investigators. He was among the first 36 U.S. plastic surgeons formally trained in the Preservé technique.
