Dr. Mehta completed a 7-year B.S./M.D. program at the Sophie Davis School for Biomedical Education and Albany Medical College. During these years, he committed one year to science research at the NYU School of Medicine Plastic Surgery Department. There, he investigated methods for the optimization of wound healing. After medical school, Dr. Mehta completed an Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. He has completed his board certifications and now practices in New York.
